NARRATION
The Cafe with No Name
It is 1966, and Robert Simon has just fulfilled his dream by taking over a café on the corner of a bustling Vienna market. He recruits a barmaid, Mila, and soon the customers flock in. Factory workers, market traders, elderly ladies, a wrestler, a painter, an unemployed seamstress in search of a job, each bring their stories and their plans for the future. As Robert listens and Mila refills their glasses, romances bloom, friendships are made and fortunes change. And change is coming to the city around them, to the little café, and to Robert’s dream.

How to Swim Naked
‘How to Swim Naked’ charts the tumultuous, tender journey of Danny and Rees, confronted by the unexpected diagnosis of Danny’s early onset dementia. Their lives unravel with the weight of the disease, prompting difficult episodes that erode the familiar routines of partnership. Grasping for calm, the two escape to Danny’s mother’s old cottage on the windswept Cornish coast, hoping the sea air will grant them new perspective.
‘How to Swim Naked’ is a moving meditation on love, loss, and the courage it takes to let go, illuminated by the salt-washed light of the Cornish coast.
