Patrick Gale is the author of at least sixteen novels and many short stories. He’s a keen cellist, gardener, is a regular at literary festivals across the country and established the North Cornwall Book Festival back in 2013. He lives on a farm in the far west of Cornwall.
I spoke to Patrick in 2023, shortly after the publication of his novel Mother’s Boy - a fictionalised account of the early life of the Cornish poet Charles Causley.
