Another idea - because I was thinking about what kind of apps would make my life easier. It’s a tool for radio presenters who need interesting research info at their finger tips.

Process of Ideation
The Problem
As a radio presenter, I need to make reference to a limited number of pieces of music, composers, works, concepts. Ideally the facts should be interesting, off-beat, memorable, and numerous enough not to repeat, and extendable to other presenters in a similar position.
Mechanics
Some means of generating random pieces of information. Information drawn from a cloud based database, which can be continually added to, updated etc.
Dynamics
Selector buttons for choosing Composers, Works, Performers, Shows, Milieu Facts. Results in the form of a simple, read-to-broadcast form.
Aesthetics/Customer Experience
There is little need for a ‘pretty app’ but one that generates information swiftly and visually easy to understand and use ‘on the hoof’.
Problems/Solutions/Further research
Hosting databases in the cloud? Can this be done?
Simple system of selecting - spinning the roulette wheel to get a result.
Extensions
The app could easily be transferred to other radio station brands - the one visualised is for Classical music, or even any one seeking to generate random information - pub quizes, conversation starters etc.
