So - Thinking about my app ideas in turn and considering their functionality, viability and potential.
My concept is to create an app that would be used by visitors to Snowdon. By using their camera facility on their phone, they could get augmented reality info, tips, warnings.
Ideally it would simply involve the app taking control of camera, and showing the images with overlayed information. You could switch between - Flora, Fauna, History, Geology, People filters.
I can think of at least on app that uses camera and location like that - showing star maps. How does it do that? How would my app know where it was and what it was looking at? Would it even be possible to create an app that always had ‘something to say’ whatever it was looking at.
